With Lockhard's Porter and Lockhard's Tomo going home, Lockhard's "Annie" and Lockhard's "Baby Doll" will have more focused training attention and soon be ready to go home with you.

Our started dog program begins by bringing out the natural desire in the dog, then instilling the obedience needed to control your dog in intense situations. We teach basic field and whistle commands, introduce the e-collar, and expose them to lots of birds. Please call or email us if interested in our Started or Finished Dogs.

When you drop your dog off for training at Lockhard, you're welcome to watch another session in process, or see how the training process will work with your dog. When Dave dropped off Buck, he was able to see Lockhard's Tomo winding down her session with Sandra and Phil. Buck, a 6-month-old GSP, had a big morning by getting introduced to a bird (good nose!), the gun, the leash and heel command, and the training field and pond. He has a lot of new, exciting experiences ahead of him as he learns to use his natural instincts to hunt birds!
